About Electric Teal
Electric Teal exists because a lot of marketing sounds good… but doesn’t actually do much.
Founded in 2017 by Summer Swinson, we work with small business owners who want marketing that feels clear, creative, and doable. The kind that supports real goals, not just algorithms. We brainstorm together, map things out, and then get to work—without overcomplicating the process.
Electric Teal didn’t start as a consulting agency. It became one. Over time, we learned that business owners don’t need more ideas—they need the right ones, plus someone to help bring them to life. Today, we focus on custom content and strategy, often partnering with in-house teams to offer an outside perspective and a steady creative push when things get stuck.
We live in the space between strategy and execution. That means we don’t just talk about what could work—we help you actually do it. From short-form video and YouTube content to social media management and ongoing strategy sessions, we help businesses build marketing systems that grow over time, without chasing every new trend or shiny tool.
Meet the Founder
Summer Swinson has been working in marketing since her early days at Starbucks Coffee Company, where she supported local store openings and community-driven campaigns. After earning her BA in Media Communications from Full Sail University, she launched Electric Teal in 2017.
She’s also been a photographer since the early 2000s, which is where Electric Teal’s love of visual storytelling really comes from. Photo and video aren’t add-ons here—they’re how brands show people who they are, not just what they sell.
